WooCommerce Security Hardening — Malware Removal, Firewall Setup and Full Security Audit

This project involved a complete WooCommerce security hardening engagement on a live WordPress store that had been compromised with malicious code injected into the site footer.

The process covered a full Wordfence vulnerability scan across all files, plugins, and themes, identification and removal of backdoors and injected malicious scripts, core file verification and database cleanup, firewall configuration with brute-force protection and login attempt limiting, SSL certificate verification, file permission hardening, and a final security audit confirming zero active threats.
